As of today, Sept 10, 2023, it appears the Russian war on Ukraine will drag on for some time. It was just released that Russia is using just about anyone they can force to fight in Ukraine no matter skill or training. The idea seems to be just to throw bodies at them and hope they get tired of shooting at them and quit. Anyone who has gone to war does not even think like that. They instead hope it ends soon and they can go on with their lives in peace. 

No matter how this ends Putin will never bring peace to the Russian people and he is willing to see them die just for the fun of it. I, for one, hope someone takes a shot at him soon and does not miss. Sounds bad but just look at how many Russians would not be killed in a war they did not want.
