While Russia is throwing one battalion after the other into a front-line meat grinder with Ukraine the Ukrainians are being far more strategic with special munitions that take out major Russian stockpiles of war material.

As the war started by Vladimir Putin grins on with Ukraine the rest of the world wonders just how * Putin is. Russia will not win this war and neither will Ukraine. The only real solution is a DMZ about 40 miles wide, 20 miles of Russian land, and 20 miles of Ukrainian land along the original border between Ukraine and Russia.

This would be a good starting point for negotiations where it could be possible for Russia to retain its bases and the bridge it built in the Crimea area with the rest of that area going back to Ukraine. It would also put most other disputed land within the DMZ protection zone.

By adding a do-not-cross statement signed by both countries at the beginning of this action they could stop killing each other and act like real diplomates. This would leave Donny two-dolls out of the picture as well as Nato.
