Russia was so sure that they could takeover Ukraine in just a few days so they took a lot of stupid chances.
Not too bright for sure and this Russian pilot paid the price for thinking he was back in Syria.
Russia had just begun the war against Ukraine when this happened and Putin still has no idea of how badly the war is going for Russia. He still thinks he can win if he just keeps sending more boys to Ukraine to get killed until everyone is dead.
