Donald Trump issued an order to attack Iran today and said it was a success.- 6-21-2025.
It depends on how you judge success. This might be the start of a very long conflict.
It will take some time to know the result of Trump's attack on Iran. I can only figure part of the reason for the attack was to get the American people off the subject of Trump's attacks on Americans over immigration and his desire to punish Democratic States, as he often tells his leadership to concentrate their efforts in those states.
I suspect that this war will get totally out of hand simply because Donald Trump has such a hard time deciding what to do about anything and says one thing and then another on any issue he is asked about. Russia has indicated it would be in this war with the Iranians on some level, and the question there is whether Russia is capable of doing much while fighting its war with Ukraine. In any case, this is going to get expensive on all levels.
